NANCY'S PIANO STUDIO

Healthy teamwork and clear communications between families, students, and the teacher can cultivate the most ideal environment for students to grow in. Through these connections, we can guide students to reach their highest potential in piano and life skills.
- Studio Mission Statement

Creating Strong Foundations
Studio Philosophy

A big part of piano lessons is about the life skills that music learning needs to conquer difficult pieces. I want my students to love lessons, work hard, and understand that nothing great comes easy. The student-parent-teacher Team is essential to my students' growth, success, and happiness.

My teaching repertoire spans a variety of styles from standard classical music (Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, etc.) to modern genres (Disney, popular, jazz, etc.). In terms of catering to goals, I am flexible with families' priorities. Some families want simple, easy-going lessons; some families prefer strong piano skills while balancing other activities; and some families take piano seriously and prefer exams and competitions. Through clear communications and boundaries, many of these priorities can be met in a realistic and positive manner.
